Scope Sharing with Freemium — Apr 29, 2026

Source: #sales-general (the "Funnel Test for the Long Tail of Mid Sized Managers" H2 body)

Marc (CRO) — 2026-04-29 18:23 I set up someone in freemium a while back. It seems like the "Scope Share" button is not available for customized scopes. How do I turn that capability on in Admin?

Jason (Product/BuildSci) — 2026-04-29 18:29 I didn't think there was. But according to Devin we limited that to users with some kind of project or program permission. @Bomee (CEO / Coder) Do you know if that was intentional, or maybe an error?

Bomee (CEO / Coder) — 2026-04-29 18:51 sorry can't. imt. ask me friday

Blockers for Pipeline Building (Robin's metabase J-51 query) — Mar 26–27, 2026

Source: #sales-general

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-26 10:56 @Marc (CRO) I still need to do the matching of non-public property managers and tagging the ones where we have EPA PM data shared with us, but check this out, which would dynamically update with the BKB and you can do a bunch of filtering on: https://metabase-staging.c15.io/question/83-j51-details-table-for-further-analysis This can also be a google sheet, but this was easier for me to put together for testing/iteration.

Marc (CRO) — 2026-03-27 08:26 thanks Robin. I am excited to look at this am. I know you got me set up on metabase before... but for some reason I didn't have my password set up in dashlane for this one -- I hit "contact system administrator" for password reset. Does that go to you?

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-27 08:47 It might go to Reuben but I reset it for you and just sent via dm

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-27 08:49 This table is keyed on BIN (not BBL), has energy EUI numbers and more building attributes. I don't have the heat pump opex diff column in there yet but could do that today

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-27 08:52 These columns added so far: LL97 Readiness, Primary Heating Fuel, Con Ed Gas or National Grid Gas Territory, year_built, above_grade_floors, space_heat_system, Total Gas Use (as EUI), Total Oil Use, Total District Steam Use, Total Electricity Use, EPA PM Inferred Management Company, Remaining to add: opex diff for heating electrification, non-public property manager info, electricity service class mix at the building,

Marc (CRO) — 2026-03-27 10:45 thanks Robin. This is great. I am having fun playing around with. Electric service class is def not a top priority as discussed. I didn't think there was actually significant non public prperty manager info. to speak of -- but eyeballing, it would seem to me that First Service is not identified in the public data -- so that would be a good one to add since we know their list.

When do you think you will be able to add opex for heating electrification?

And is there a way to export to excel to send to sitecompli?

Marc (CRO) — 2026-03-27 11:26 @Robin (BuildSci/Coder) closed the tab and when I tried to re-open I got this message below. ??

Error 1033 Ray ID: 9e2f6852df62a0f4 • 2026-03-27 15:25:24 UTC Cloudflare Tunnel error What happened? You've requested a page on a website (metabase-staging.c15.io) that is on the Cloudflare network. The host (metabase-staging.c15.io) is configured as a Cloudflare Tunnel, and Cloudflare is currently unable to resolve it.

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-27 11:28 yeah our infrastructure provider (fly ) is having some issues this morning. I guess I should just export to a google sheet

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-27 11:29 has nothing to do with the actual table or metabase UI

Marc (CRO) — 2026-03-27 12:01 it just started working for me again in metabase... but I will eventually need to export to excel anyway to send to SiteCompli. I am thinking that this is going to be an item that I spend a longer block of time on tmw before I take off... if possible to get in that opex savings column today that will be great... otherwise, I will do it manually in excel tmw. thank you again.

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-27 18:29 I updated it to have the cost delta for packaged heat pumps assuming 70% of primary heating energy type is for space heating. I put the data in this spreadsheet on a new tab: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-DzX5Le3pR5oubNCYzkoiLv7n9RsLMLYzSpQc9bWf_k/edit?gid=609727911#gid=609727911 I also made a spreadsheet pivot table with some prioritization filters on another tab in case of interest.

Magrann / Mitchell Lama address upload issues — Mar 3–6, 2026

Source: #sales-general (from the "Intro for Momentum to power Boston BEPS" H2 — second portion of body)

Marc (CRO) — 2026-03-03 09:59 Jen a HPD wants me to get Magrann's set up to do 17 Mitchell Lama buildings. So that I can communicate to team... when do we expect the newest development features on staging to be available that group developments??

Also, there was a pretty high number of address not found when I tried to upload this portfolio. Not sure if that is a function of these being developments? Documentation here: A regular user would be annoyed by having to manually enter 18 additional buildings that were not found: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VUjAvo5bFFoMAidvGpCX2qJ3_dzgyvqiHtTKmU7ZkpY/edit?usp=sharing

Jason (Product/BuildSci) — 2026-03-03 10:51 Developments should be out with the next release, so should be early next week. Still trying to finalize the date.

Jason (Product/BuildSci) — 2026-03-03 11:01 I looked at a few of the missed addresses. They all seem close, but I guess not close enough. Recording of what I found. @Robin (BuildSci/Coder) I think this is better for you to look at, but let me know if I can help.

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-05 21:27 I reviewed this and made a couple of updates to the code that I'm pushing in to the calc service tomorrow. I updated the 'not found' sheet to show the updates. Some were that we needed the better logic that's been waiting in the wings until now. Some is that the addresses you were given were the wrong/misspelled street names or the wrong zip codes. We can correct some things but a wrong zip code is a tough one to overcome in address upload. In single building add we'll get the right one every time.

Marc (CRO) — 2026-03-06 08:58 so I was given just addresses via email. I asked AI to create the original address-zip list in Momentum form. I was so happy it could do that as a processing step. But I guess it turns out that it was wrong?

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-06 09:00 The zip codes in the original format sheet are also wrong. In the tab 'from Jen'?

Marc (CRO) — 2026-03-06 09:42 huh. This is the raw thing I got from Jen: https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/21122440/contact/286051/?engagement=105857045032 Most but not all of the addresses she gave me had zips in this message. I asked chat gpt to turn it into Momentum format. Here is the raw output

Perhaps chat gpt did it wrong? I used chat gpt because it did a better job than Claude a couple weeks ago when I ask the CBL list to be queried to match an address with LL97 pathway.

Taking a step back... I am a laypersn user that gets an email from a customer that has a list of addresses and i just want to see them in Momentum. 485 Malcom X Blvd,10037 1950 Hutchinson Parkway,10461 116-01 157th St,11434 116-25 157th St,11434 116-45 157th St,11434 45 Farview Ave,10040 (34 lines total)

Robin (BuildSci/Coder) — 2026-03-06 09:53 I think our address upload could be a little more interactive where for any addresses not found, we have a version of Add Building where the user can select from a dropdown, which I think is much more forgiving.

That would get around the issue of the user not having the right zip codes for their list of buildings.

Short of that I think we'd need an LLM to parse user's messy and often incorrect address lists, but we can't perform miracles here.

Your conversion of addresses was faithful to the provided addresses and seems like a good time-saving method.
